Magento 1 to Magento 2
I transfer the catalogue, customers, orders and sales configuration, and replace the outdated theme and extensions with solutions compatible with Magento 2.
I transfer online stores and B2B platforms from the existing system to Magento 2. I recreate key processes, organise data, integrations and SEO, and prepare the new frontend for further development.
I start every project with an audit of the current platform. Before delivery begins, this confirms what can be migrated, what needs to be rebuilt and how to plan a low-risk launch.
Project scope
A Magento 2 migration requires a new environment, storefront, integrations and features, plus controlled data migration. I do not reproduce the legacy store’s limitations. I first identify which processes still support sales and which should be simplified or rebuilt.
The scope of Magento 2 store development is created after an inventory of the catalogue, customer accounts, order history, pricing rules, content, modules, integrations and addresses important for SEO. As a result, the migration has clear acceptance criteria, schedule and launch plan.
Each platform stores data and implements sales processes differently. Therefore, for each source I prepare separate data mapping, a list of features and a launch scenario.
I transfer the catalogue, customers, orders and sales configuration, and replace the outdated theme and extensions with solutions compatible with Magento 2.
I map products, variants, customers and orders and prepare payment, delivery, promotion and multi-market support processes in Magento.
I organise product, attribute and category data saved in WordPress, and then transfer customers, orders and necessary integrations.
I analyse a custom data model, document processes and prepare individual imports, integrations and modules needed to replace the current system.
I map products, variants, customers, orders, Multi-Storefront channels and integrations, then rebuild the storefront and SEO structure in Magento 2.
Products, categories, attributes, variants, prices, stock levels, content, customer accounts and order history are placed in a previously agreed structure.
I design or implement a new visual layer and recreate the necessary functions. This is a good time to simplify the customer journey and remove the limitations of the legacy store.
I connect Magento with ERP, PIM, CRM, OMS, payments, carriers and other systems that are responsible for sales and customer service.
I prepare a redirection map, save important metadata and addresses, perform final data synchronisation and control the switch to the new store.
I divide the project into stages that allow for early detection of data and functionality problems, before they affect the launch date.
Budget and schedule
The cost depends on the quality and quantity of data, the complexity of the catalogue, the number of language versions and stores, integrations, B2C or B2B features, the scope of the new frontend, and how many processes need to be rebuilt instead of copied.
After discovery, I provide the scope, delivery plan and fixed-price proposal. I flag every item that requires a decision or additional data, so the budget does not rely on hidden assumptions.
Technology partner
I focus on the commercial outcomes that matter to clients. I build fast, conversion-focused online stores and B2B platforms that automate workflows and make sales teams more efficient.
I combine seven years of experience in e-commerce with technological solutions supporting sales. After launch, I continue to help develop the platform and make strategic decisions.
Project security
The Adobe Commerce Frontend Expert certificate confirms the competences needed to properly implement Magento 2. This makes the choice of partner safer.
I have delivered Magento 2 integrations with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite and SAP Business One, PIM platforms including Akeneo, and order management systems such as Linnworks and Brightpearl. This reduces the risk in one of the most complex parts of an e-commerce project.
This is a fixed-price engagement. A thorough analysis defines acceptance criteria, architecture and scope. As a result, the project can be priced in detail and the final cost is not a surprise.
I release working features to the test environment throughout the project. Your project lead can review them as they become available, keeping you in control of the delivery direction.

FAQ
Preparatory work and testing take place in a separate environment. A short break may be needed during final synchronisation and switching, but I determine its scope and time in advance based on the way orders and data are saved in the current store.
Most often, I transfer products, categories, attributes, prices, states, customers, addresses, orders, content and data needed for integrations. The exact scope depends on access to the database, API or exports of the source platform and the quality of the collected information.
This depends on the source platform and how passwords are encrypted. If a secure transfer is not possible, I prepare a process for setting a new password and communication that reduces customer problems after go-live.
Before launching, I prepare a map of old and new addresses, redirections, metadata, sitemap and indexation checks. Consistent positions cannot be guaranteed, but the risk of lost traffic due to technical errors can be significantly reduced.
A Magento 2-compatible frontend needs to be rebuilt. Replatforming can retain the brand’s visual direction while improving navigation, the customer journey, mobile UX and performance.
An accurate estimate starts with an audit of the data, integrations, features and frontend. Once we agree the scope, I provide a delivery plan and fixed-price proposal tied to clear acceptance criteria.
